Is only 280m down the road (next door to the Hotel) and has all your basic needs. (Open early til 6pm).
Gold Fossicking
Windeyer is a well-known gold mining area, dating back to the 1850’s. For those of you who feel lucky you’ll find a couple of gold pans and a small pick in our accommodation so you can try your luck looking for gold the creek opposite our driveway.
Pushbikes
We have also provided 2 adult pushbikes (and helmets), for adults who may wish to explore Windeyer by bike.
Mudgee Observatory
Our local Mudgee Observatory is only a short 20-minute drive towards Mudgee. Bookings are essential, so please give John a call 02 63733431.

Nature, heritage and culture, along with art, paddock to plate food and some great local pubs, food producers, restaurants and cafés, guarantee the region rich with interesting things to see, experience and taste. You can explore more activities to undertake during your stay at the Mudgee Tourism and Information Centre, which is part of the award winning arts precinct, displaying both local and visiting artists.
